Hi, I’m Dave — Dad / Dave.

This site started with a simple idea: One Starting Point.

Most of my pieces begin with something ordinary I see on my walk — a bug on the pavement, a feather in the grass, a log wedged under a bridge, a stump with a little roof that looks like a gnome house.

The photo is the starting point. The final image is what happens when curiosity gets involved.

My working rule is simple: try to preserve what started the idea, and discover what else might be hiding inside.

The smaller the bug, the bigger the imagination gets.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
